Banks partnering with the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 are offering special interest rates and financing facilities to visitors looking to purchase vehicles at the ongoing mobility expo.

Global IME Bank, the co-sponsor of the expo, along with banking partners Siddhartha Bank and NMB Bank, have set up stalls at the exhibition venue to provide vehicle financing services and facilitate loan applications.

With visitor numbers increasing by the third day of the expo, the banks have also reported growing interest at their stalls.

Manzil Bisht, SME and Retail Banking Manager at Global IME Bank, said the number of visitors seeking information about vehicle financing has increased as the expo has progressed.

“After selecting a vehicle, a significant number of visitors are coming to our stall to register for loans and apply by scanning the QR code,” Bisht said. “Vehicle companies are attracting customers with attractive offers, and we are working to support those offers through financing facilities.”

The bank stalls are also helping visitors connect with their respective branches after registering their details at the expo.

Bishnu Prasad Sharma, Manager of Siddhartha Bank’s Lazimpat branch, said the information collected at the expo stall is being forwarded to the bank’s central office, which then contacts potential customers and connects them with the appropriate branch. “In some cases, we directly connect visitors with the branches,” he said.

Sharma added that the number of visitors registering for vehicle loans after selecting their preferred vehicles has been increasing each day.

NMB Bank has also been facilitating vehicle financing for expo visitors through its on-site stall. “We are facilitating loans for expo visitors at attractive interest rates,” said Samikshya Pant, Relationship Manager at NMB Bank. “We revised the interest rates specifically for NAIMA, and the response from customers has been good.”

The expo has brought together a significant number of domestic and multinational vehicle manufacturers and importers, with new electric cars, e-scooters and electric commercial vehicles among the key attractions. Brands making their debut in Nepal, alongside new models from existing manufacturers, have also drawn considerable interest from visitors.
